RSS
March 20th, 2007 Posted in Internet and TechnologyReaders who have joined A Dawn Journal through RSS – welcome all. This morning my RSS meter went up a little and that’s how I know that I have got some new readers. Thanks for joining in and I hope this site meets your expectations.
I can’t ignore the importance of RSS but somehow I was never able to stick to RSS feeds. I always find real sites are more compelling than RSS feeds. I tried many RSS readers and I used them for a couple of weeks only. Then I went back to my old habit. I just enjoy being at a site than reading updates through RSS. I like to observe and analyse the site I am at from various angles and explore all it has to offer. But an RSS reader restricts me reading only updates. I know that’s the point of having RSS feeds but i guess this is not for me. Readers who can’t live without RSS, my searching experience for the best RSS reader might help you. I tried almost most of the readers out there. I expected a lot from Google RSS reader but I liked it least. Netvibes, Webwag and Pageflake are the best and easy to configure. But don’t take my word. Try it by yourself and choose the one you like most. You might like this article Netvibes. Cheers.
