If you are looking for a simple application to write online, Writeboard is worth giving a try. Whiteboard is an online writing software, free for personal and business use. Writeboard allows you to create and share text documents online. The main reason I like Writeboard because of its simplicity. It’s incredibly simple and easy to use.

Let me list some other features which make this tool a great application:

• You can password protect your document

• You can compare different versions of the same document

• You can share/collaborate with your friends

• Changes can be known via RSS subscription

The main disadvantage of Writeboard is that it does not have rich features like underline, bold, italic, font, format, etc. I don’t mind not having these features because for that I can use other applications. If your main purpose is just to write from any computer anywhere and you don’t want to loose you work – Writeboard is your answer.
