Another to add to this list is to not go out to eat at all. I'm constantly amazed at how often most of our friends go out to eat. Eat and home and save tons!! I can't stand the tap water at most restaurants. It tastes funny - of course, most tap water in the city I live in tastes funny, so that's probably why. Yes, you pay a ridiculous markup on the soda, but for all intents and purposes, two bucks on a meal isn't really worthwhile enough for me to go with water. I might as well eat at home anyway. As far as 'the more people you have, the less you'll spend,' I WISH I could get people to do that, but the problem is that so many people have completely different tastes that everyone wants their own meal. It's just a given that everyone gets their own plate. The others on the list aren't bad, but these two points in particular I just couldn't see doing.
