		<description>I think that refinancing one&#039;s home for purposes of investing into equities (borrow against your home) can be tempting but a bad decision. One could lose their home with this type of strategy, or at least be behind in years to pay off the loan. Regarding renovations, my thoughts are that people should save until they have enough for renovations and take advantage of the tax credit that&#039;s available instead of refinancing a mortgage.</description>
