		<description>Inflation is one of those eerie living things that permeate our lives without us really knowing until we wake up one morning and realize it costs us $2 for a kit-kat bar.

One thing that really hits home to me is when you hear all kinds of &#039;analysts&#039; that say to invest less in guaranteed investment vehicles and more into equities and riskier vehicles because investors are at a higher risk of not overcoming inflation over time. I&#039;d say a lot of investors wished they had more safety in their respective portfolios when they saw their mutual funds plummet during the meltdown!
