Interest Rate Is Zero in Japan – Japan cuts its key interest rate to zero. The last change (before this) was in December, 2008 when Japan cut interest rate to 0.1 per cent. Japan has been struggling to fight sluggish economy, inflation, and strong yen for a while.
Canada Real Estate Market Improves – According to ReMax, Canadian real estate market is showing signs of improvement. Although it’s still a long way to reach highs of 2009, sales have improved significantly for the last few months. Luxury home market has seen the strongest sales volume.
Gold and Silver Are record High – Gold jumps to $1,343 an ounce. Silver reaches $23 an ounce, which is a 30-year high.
