Canada–One Of The World’s Top Ten Least Corrupt Countries

On October 1, 2007, I mentioned Canada’s comeback in the top ten of the least corrupt countries list. Today, I am excited to let you know that Canada has managed to climb in sixth position on the list for 2010. Canada secured eighth position in 2009.
Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) tracks corruption worldwide and their 2010 Index was just published recently. 2010 CPI looked at 178 countries and collected corruption related data carried out by 13 independent surveys.
Let’s look at the top 2010 least corrupt countries on the list with scores:
Denmark 9.3
New Zealand 9.3
Singapore 9.3
Finland 9.2
Sweden 9.2
Canada 8.9
Netherlands 8.8
Australia 8.7
Switzerland 8.7
Norway 8.6
