Canada Economy Speeds Up – Canadian Economic growth shows its strongest gain in eight months, data released by Statistics Canada on Monday pointed out. Robust oil and gas sector activities fueled this growth. However, manufacturing and construction activities declined because of reduced demand.

Gross Domestic Product (GDP) went up 0.4 per cent in November, this is more than predicted GDP growth by 0.3 per cent. The Bank of Canada predicts 2.4 per cent GDP growth in 2011 and 2.7 per cent in 2012.
